Advertising and Blogspot

At first I looked at the blogspot as just a place to place fun stuff, but when I got into using Adsence and ways to make it incorporate advertising for my nursery, things got interesting. Using the Adsence, users can expand their searches for products and services related to your business, as well as use the blogspot as a forum for finding out information and answering questions. Gaining trust of your visitors, paves the way to use the blogspot as an advertising medium. Posting advertisements about your business gives the reader additional exposure to your business while being entertained with the information available on the blogsite. I incorported videos related to gardening and as soon as possible, will present the nursery information and advertisement of goods and services. Tying in the informational lists, links and videos is a good way to expand the personal advertisement spots. The more visitors, the more word of mouth advertisement available, as well as keeping the visitor at your site longer.

I think using blogsites for advertising is a great way to gain the interest of visitors, drawing them in to the site and almost subliminally exposing them to the advertisement of your business at that time.

This is almost like providing a website, but with the added advantage of sharing or obtaining information through the posts. Hopefully, providing truthful and reliable information will produce positive blogs and add an additional vehicle in the search mechanisms to lead users to your site. I have yet to incorporate effective search information about my site to the common search engines.

As your followers expand, so does your business potential. Advertising is just an added bonus for you and your fellow bloggers.

Social Networking Tools as vehicles for promotion and advertising

I think the interactive social networking tools are an excellent way to do promotions and advertising because it gives the recipient or visitor an opportunity to voice an opinion about your advertisement or request additional information, or gain additional information from other blogs at the site. I believe this is the new frontier of advertising - it might take more work to provide bloggers what they need, but an excellent way to promote truthful and informational advertising. So little information is provided these days with ad's that you almost have to research them on your own to even know what is going on with the advertisement. So yeah to Social Networking Sites - may they have a successful and productive future.

"Thousands and thousands of acres in the United States are being sprayed annually with nearly 50 million pounds of Roundup, a broad-spectrum herbicide designed to kill any plant it hits, unless the plant has been genetically altered to tolerate the chemical. Roundup has accounted for half of Monsanto's corporate profits in recent years."

A research project in Australia, entitled "The Congruent Garden: an Investigation into the Role of the Domestic Garden in Satisfying Fundamental Human Needs," interviewed gardeners on the values of gardening in their everyday lives. The researcher, Mike Steven, established that gardens have the potential to satisfy nine basic human needs (subsistence, protection, affection, understanding, participation, leisure, creation, identity, freedom) across four existential states (being, having, doing and interacting.)
